David Letterman, the famous talk show host and comedian, is also a huge fan of auto racing. In fact, he is a co-owner of the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team along with former IndyCar driver Bobby Rahal and businessman Mike Lanigan.
Letterman’s interest in racing began when he was a young boy growing up in Indiana, where auto racing is a big part of the local culture. Over the years, he has become a passionate fan of the sport and has attended numerous races around the world.
In 1996, Letterman teamed up with Rahal to form their own racing team, which has since gone on to win numerous championships and races in various categories of motorsports, including IndyCar and sports car racing.
Aside from his involvement in racing, Letterman is also known for his love of classic cars. He owns an extensive collection of vintage vehicles, including rare and exotic models that are highly prized by collectors.
